rosemary crowns

All photos by Frances Moulin
This idea was adapted from rosemary crowns I saw during my neighborhood Fourth of July parade. Several people were wearing these beautiful rosemary creations adorned with simple metallic tinsel, and I thought it was too perfect for my friend Ale's bridal shower I recently hosted at my casa.

At first I was going to make each lady a crown as a favor, but then I thought it would be more interesting if each of us made our own. So naturally, I turned it into a craft. And it was a hit!

There's really no full DIY needed here. All you have to do is cut two to three long sprigs of rosemary, wash and dry, tie them together with fabric or twine, and adorn with ribbon, fresh flowers, tinsel, the sky's the limit, really.

Have fun, my beautiful rosemary princesses!

Penny tried to leave Ale some marital advice, but she ended up falling asleep on the cards instead.
